When you can't get your ex to respond, where do you have your divorce posted?

or actually who do you talk to? because I'm doing this divorce prose, the district clerk can only help me with info on things like fees. they can not give me any instruction. I was told that they post it on the front door of the courthouse, but where do I go to have this done? who do I talk to? thanks
